Laciny Bros., a custom fabrication company, is seeking a full-time mechanical design engineer to join our team! Since 1916, Laciny Bros. has specialized in custom fabrication that demands creativity, precision, and quality craftsmanship.

• Design and solid modeling using SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
• Generate 3D CAD designs of parts and assemblies.
• Project management, including, but not limited to, onsite customer interaction and data collection, assistance in concept generation, quoting, fabrication detail development and various aspects of production management.
• Fast pace, exiting work environment with emphasis on teamwork, creativity, precision and keen attention to detail.
• Potential for career development within the mechanical/industrial automation fields.

An ideal candidate has/is:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a fabrication environment/shop, experience with custom machine design, mechanical systems and/or electro-mechanical equipment design.
• Skilled with the latest CAD software: SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
• Experience designing/fabricating manufacturing equipment with emphasis in automation and/or sanitary design principles.

• Capable of completing work on challenging projects in a demanding customer climate.
• Able to work well within a team atmosphere and take on diversified roles without hesitation.
